Coming Home to You
I miss you when you are gone
Like the dying man will miss his last breath.
I thought of you today as I thought of you yesterday
and will think of you tomorrow.
I carry your essence with me for I have arrived home beneath the everything
And seated before me is your beauty and it has penetrated my heart.
My tears carry with them many messages from other worlds
Today I stand beneath this great sky with arms spread
calling for passion that I may know what a kiss is.
My deepest longing is that I may speak with the wind and rain
and that I will share with you at night their song beneath all that is
beautiful.
You are the dear one returned from a distant journey.
You mean everything to me
For there is such magic in our embrace.
Night gone to day – I am the new man…
While you lay alone at night, think of me
As I stand with the stars – the stars who know me by name
Because I remember from where I have come.
I have my hands outstretched in your direction
and this night late I will take you to the many worlds
so that you will remember your beauty.
May your remembrance give you strength to stand tall beside me.
I am unlike any other for I am a friend who has embraced the everything
and I have traveled the great distance to stand beside you, to remind
you of all that is precious.
You owe me nothing and I owe you everything.
I beneath all this now have viewed the descent of
true intelligence
and it’s beauty is beyond measure
and it has changed everything.
I stand beside you today ready to pour my essence into your soul.
And it is my innocence come home rooted in all that is wonderful.
I ask from you nothing and what you don’t understand I will explain.
I speak of rainbows and sunsets, of moonrises across
desert skies.
I run with the coyote and fly with the eagles.
I have traveled deep within myself and arrived here beneath a sky of greatness.
And I await your arrival and I can wait forever for the beauty is splendid
and never has such beauty been embraced by flesh
And in our togetherness beneath this wonderful sky,
we will invite others for there is truly nothing left to do but to embrace
each others’ togetherness.
I beside you as a trusted friend and a world embracing appreciation for
all that is and will ever be.
